Adult Education is a comprehensive program of free classes for adult students who need to learn English or improve their basic literacy skills, obtain a GED® certificate, or prepare for the Citizenship exam.
Alternative High Schools (16 to 21 years old)
Did you drop out of high school? Are you 16 to under 21 years of age? You can earn a high school diploma at the City Colleges of Chicago! Apply at Olive-Harvey Middle College or Truman Middle College.
The Alumni Association provides opportunities for alumni to connect with City Colleges and each other.

Athletics play an important role in student life at the City Colleges of Chicago. Many of our athletes have transferred their talents onto four-year college and university teams.

Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is the governing body of City Colleges of Chicago Community College District No. 508. City Colleges of Chicago currently operates seven accredited colleges located throughout Chicago.
Budget and Planning
The Department of Budget and Planning provides the City Colleges of Chicago with policy recommendations and budgetary analysis for the district.
Business Services is responsible for protecting the assets of the college by ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to while maintaining the financial integrity of the college.
Capital Planning and Construction
Capital Planning & Construction conducts the annual facility assessments, develops the District-wide Capital Plan and coordinates and executes major construction and renovation projects on the college campuses.
Center for Operational Excellence
The Center for Operational Excellence exists as a vital, driving partner in achieving the critical strategic and operational initiatives of the City Colleges of Chicago through the generation, analysis and implementation of performance improvements
Under the auspices of the Office of Institutional Advancement, the Communications Department oversees the City Colleges of Chicago media relations and public relations activities.
The Controller's Office collects, analyzes, and reports on financial and related non-financial data for the City Colleges of Chicago. It has two sections: General Accounting and Grant Accounting.
Disability Access Center
The Disability Access Center provides coordination and supportive services for students with documented disabilities.
District Student Government Association
The District Student Government Association represents all students and serves as a liaison between the student body and college administration and the Board of Trustees.
Educational Quality works to provide accessible educational opportunities, improve academic quality, facilitate faculty engagement in professional development and teaching excellence, and maintain supports to promote scholarly research.
The purpose of the City College Ethics Office is to meet City College ethics goals, reduce unethical behavior within the City College community, implement Board policies on ethics and meet the requirements of the State Ethics Act.
Facilities Maintenance and Usage
The Facilities Department maintains, replaces, and repairs the campuses’ buildings, grounds, and utility systems. This includes managing: heating and cooling, custodial services, snow removal, building repairs, issuance of keys and set ups for events.
The Department of Finance is responsible for managing the District’s finances and providing governance, support and leadership in financial management and reporting, business and treasury services, budgeting, planning, payroll and financial aid.
Financial Control and Compliance
The Financial Control and Compliance Department provides leadership in the administration of the District's Financial Systems and supports the Finance Department with control, compliance and strategic metric monitoring.
The Office of the General Counsel is responsible for all legal work arising from the activities of the District.
The Office of Human Resources' mission is to attract, recruit, develop and retain the most highly qualified and diverse workforce that will support and deliver on the City Colleges of Chicago's Reinvention and Strategic initiatives.
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) supports student success by providing a leading edge technology environment for students, faculty and staff to improve teaching, learning and operations.
The Office of the Inspector General conducts investigations regarding waste, fraud and misconduct.
The Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) serves the educational goals of the City Colleges of Chicago.
The mission of Internal Audit is to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to improve the City Colleges of Chicago operations.

Labor and Employee Relations
The Office of Labor & Employee Relations provides assistance and guidance to supervisors, managers, administrators and employees on collective bargaining agreements, employee relations, equal employment, Title IX and other policy compliance.

The District Office Mail Services exists primarily for the distribution, collection, and processing of the Colleges' Mail.

Partners in Education
Through a partnership between the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) and City Colleges of Chicago (CCC), CHA residents and HCV Program participants are eligible for quality training and educational opportunities at low or no cost.
The Payroll Department is a dedicated team of professionals committed to paying employees in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with CCC policy and Federal and State regulations.
Plant Maintenance provides support services for the purpose of maintaining a well functioning and safe facility.
City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) encourages companies, both large and small, to do business with CCC. CCC operates seven colleges and seven vocational/technical centers, serving 120,000 students annually.
The Office of the Registrar administers the enrollment of students, maintains student records, and works with faculty, administration and staff on academic matters.

The Office of Safety & Security works to ensure a safe and secure environment for all City College students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
The Student Affairs department provides overall leadership and support for the Student Services departments located at our colleges.
This office is responsible for the control and management of Federal and State Financial Aid Programs, receipts of revenues, and the protection of the District’s assets.

The Testing Resources Centers provide a variety of testing services to assist students as they pursue their academic goals.

Transfer Directors lead transfer activities and advising for the students at each City College.
The Office of Transfer and Articulation oversees Transfer Centers, university partnerships and course articulations.
This office manages and invests District funds used for instructional programs, general operations, facility maintenance, and capital improvements.
